At the heart of the mysteries of East Africa lies a legendary kingdom where warriors distinguish themselves with courage and skill. Immerse yourself in the annals of history and be transported to a world where alliances are forged, battles are fought, and greatness is unmatched. Discover the kingdom of the Tutsi, an enigmatic empire that gave rise to formidable warriors ready to defend their honor and territory.
Tutsi society was based on a caste system, with the Tutsi at the top of the social hierarchy. They were primarily cattle herders and enjoyed privileges and higher status compared to the Hutu, who were farmers, and the Twa, who were hunter-gatherers.
The Tutsi are an ethnic group with a long history in the Great Lakes region of East Africa, primarily in the countries of Rwanda, Burundi, and eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. They are known for their complex social and political organization, as well as their legendary warriors.
Tutsi warriors, known as " intore
" or " inyanga
" in their language, were considered the military elite of Tutsi society.
